This magic soil with the story of which goes back to the Gallo-Roman period when villas and a big ruin splendidly perched on the rocky terraces of the locality The Barry to Montpeyroux (The Terraces of Larzac), seduces us immediately from our arrival during our visit last summer. The new owner who received us, a former doctor reconverted to tasteful wine grower was together with his wife British painter. The fine team completed by a young talented oenologist, signs a line of original, high quality bio-dynamic wines of whom the owners proposed us the warm tasting in their house brilliant of history and culture.

One of the tasted wines caught my attention by its rarity of conception and I suggested realizing his music pairing later… Here it is:

A carignan of which the exception of the fragrances vituperate in the chalice around a floral bouquet (immortal, violet, rose), of a sensation of hot quetsches and in cherries tart, of herbaceous notes and wet stone. The sweetness of flowers and fruits revealed in the nose finds itself in mouth by revealing a balance of big sharpness, in the feminine sensualism allying this union of the soil – wine grower to the perfection.

The musical pairing chosen the same vintage year comes to underline the beauty of the wine by corresponding with three common invariable parameters defined in both universes following the concept Wine4Melomanes: the sensualism, the liveliness and the melody.

The persistent musical introduction of the piece underlines the floral swirling presence in the wine, the punchy electronic arrangement crowned by the delicate feminine voice corresponds with hot fruits, the crystalline melodious fine touches orchestrated in the music join the subliminal minerality of the wine.

The entrance to mouth of the nectar traces with the deep tablecloth of the kinematic tones, of whom the felt sensualism becomes identified with that some wine.

The originality of the poetic and futuristic musical creation makes mirror to that of this wine in the sensational olfactive and gustative sphere of influence.
