Château Marchand Bellevue « Le Petit Verdot » A.O.C Bordeaux – 2018 (Bio nature)

Grape : petit verdot
Terroir : argilo-calcaire profond – vignes jeunes de 15 ans
Vignobles Alain Dufourg à Targon (Entre-deux-Mers)

The sommelier:

This wine, which is vinified for 2 months in stainless steel vats, reveals a deep garnet (almost black) colour.
After a carafe aeration of an hour and a half, the olfaction is dense around the menthol first nose, then come liquorice, bitter cocoa and new leather.

To open the wine much more, it is necessary to wait several hours for the oxygenation in carafe due to its youth.
The mouth is richly textured, fascinating, the tannins are firm and tight.

Then the graceful flavours of crushed blueberry, liquorice stick, coffee grounds, prune cream and toasted almond combine in balance enveloping the taste buds with appetizer.

A promising wine that is to be put in the cellar a few years, to discover the evolution of this complex grape with solid tannic structure.

The textured robe of the wine fits the sophisticated musical orchestration.

The deep bass, the playful strings, the melodious piano, the poetic voices and the rhythmic tempo oscillating between the two compositions chosen, come to marry the aromatic complexity of the nectar.

The generous tasting of this atypical sensual beverage echoes the melodious luminescence of the arrangements of the piece, crowned with radiant voices with touching reverie.
