A great wine from the Loire Valley created by renowned winemaker Pascal Cotat who resumed the family area of 4 hectares in Chavignol. He divides his vineyard in 3 terroirs clay-limestone in the marls of the Kimmeridge which one who gives a wine called La Grande Cote: it caught my attention in particular on the 2010 vintage. A range of persistent fragrances evolve with grace and vivacity to the contact of the air during the tasting of this wine : lemongrass, guava, quince, salted butter caramel, honey of acacia and almond notes combine in a harmonious olfactory ballet inspired a very attractive male sensuality. Mouthing of the refined, large, textured beverage similar to the aromas with a final flavoured says on the bitter almond, confirms the radiant fabric of this rare wine, flagship of its name.

The musical pairing chosen the same vintage year comes to underline the beauty of the wine by corresponding with three common invariable parameters defined in both universes following the concept Wine4Melomanes: the sensualism, the liveliness and the melody

After aeration, the splendour of this vintage 2010 but also expected one of the finest Sauvignon of the world, spark of aromatic ardor in 2016 with the echo in the image of the rhythmic ride mastered by the jazz quartet: runaway strings, melodic metal percussion in the form of flying saucer called « hang steel drum », the flights of calibrated soprano saxophone come merge onto the smooth flavour and taste of wine sensuality highlighting its gustatory voltage and its fresh amplitude.
