Grapes: merlot, bouchet, cabernet sauvignon, malbec on argilo-limestone soil

Look of the bottle, sticker: purified with a sober and clear printing stick, bottling with a quality flange.

Aromas: floral, black cherry, blueberry, licorice – wet limestone, undergrowth and toasted almond notes ( carafe during 1.30 mini).

Flavors: fluidity, freshness on the fruits mentioned in aromas, vanilla mocha notes, vivacity and balance on the date (T ° of service at about 16 ° C).

The chosen musical pairing of the same vintage underscores the beauty of wine by corresponding with the three common invariable settings in both universes following the Wine4Melomanes concept: sensuality, vivacity and melody.

Ahmad Jamal – Masara (feat. Yusef Lateef) [Live à l’Olympia Paris] – 2012

The righteousness piano of the famous composer Ahmad Jamal surrounded of afro percussive arrangements with a vivace passion, whose line of « exotica » flute by Yusef Lateef crowns brilliantly the radiant melody: the jazz ensemble devouring points out earnestly the qualities defined in equation combined aromas releasing a joint of the finest mixed sensuality. The floral and fruity ballet from the luxury beverage led to the former since the soil, meets the vintage sounds of the flute. The modern jazz of the precious sound piano make echo with the freshness, the fluidity and the minerality of wine.

 

A little history: the magnificence of this area of fifteen hectares surrounded of big names ranked on the plateau Saint-Emillionais, is grown biodynamically in generations Beaulieu family owner for 400 years! A wildlife and biodiversity unparalleled flora in the appellation where Roman tulips flirt with orchids, newts and narcissi. A microcosm of insects regulates itself without any synthetic additive for more than a century. The VitiRover, a discreet tools patented by the family to cut the herbs in the ranks of the vineyard, reveals how the concern of « good living » in the natural elements is important in order to create a pure wine. Finally the holy grail was discovered at random work in the property: a bottle with cap molded in heart always in perfect condition glass dating from the XVIII century set on the neck! The image of a fairy tale, the current Beaulieu family decided to reissue the same kind grail growing on the plot where he was found, a middle age vineyard of extreme organic quality to give an exception cuvée from 2015 and to continue future great years of harvest. A first limited ultra trialwas produced in 2014 to refine this discovery magical equation.
